Migration Outgoing HTTP Proxy

We will migrate our shared proxy server to a new server.

  • This affects only a small fraction of managed-servers where the use of the proxy-server is explicitely configured
  • Since we migrate the IP address, there is no need for any configuration change on the managed-servers use the proxy-server
  • During the migration the system will be unavailable for a short period of approximately 10 to 15min

Cluster Maintenance

Mailserver Migration

We are migrating Mailcow to new servers. During the maintenance window, Mailcow services will be temporarily unavailable. The interruption is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. Please note that SMTP is designed to retry message delivery automatically, so no incoming emails will be lost during this period.

Mailserver Update, scheduled 5 years ago

We perform software updates on our mail servers. We expect a downtime of ~5 minutes.

With this update we disable TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. Please contact us if you have an old client, we can reactivate TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 if necessary. This change does not affect unauthenticated smtp via port 25.

Network DDoS Attack

Due to a ongoing DDoS attack, our network is only partially reachable. We are in process of eliminating the traffic in question.

Update 08:13: The traffic in question was identified and blocked, all services are reachable again. We will monitor the situation closely.

Update 09:14: Our mitigation measures proofed to be reliable.
