Migration Outgoing HTTP Proxy

We will migrate our shared proxy server to a new server.

  • This affects only a small fraction of managed-servers where the use of the proxy-server is explicitely configured
  • Since we migrate the IP address, there is no need for any configuration change on the managed-servers use the proxy-server
  • During the migration the system will be unavailable for a short period of approximately 10 to 15min

Ops One ID Migration: Password Reset, scheduled 2 years ago

On Monday, 04 March 2024, we will replace the backend of the existing user administration. As we do not transfer the existing passwords due to different hashing algorithms, a password reset is necessary. This means that from Monday, 4 March 2024, you will no longer be able to log in with your existing password. You can then set a new password using the regular password reset function.

All cockpit users were also informed by e-mail.

We are also looking forward to the following new features, which you can already configure today at https://id.opsone.ch/:

  • Passkey: You can now use passkeys for 2FA. This allows you to use a hardware token such as a YubiKey.
  • Recovery Codes: You can now generate recovery codes. A recovery code allows you to reset your 2FA if you lose your smartphone.
