Cockpit Cockpit: Changes to managed servers are limited right now

We identified a problem affecting changes to resources of managed servers. Currently creating new servers, editing or deleting existing servers is not possible and the changes performed in the Cockpit are not executed.

Changes to the configuration of managed servers (e.g. adding/removing websites or changing the configuration of websites on a managed server) are not affected and work normally.

  • 08:45 - we're investigating the issue
  • 10:20 - we identified the underlying problem and already started to work on mitigation
  • 11:55 - we're still working on preparing and validating the solution and will continue to do so after a short lunch-break
  • 15:00 - we could prepare a solution that looks like it solves the problem and are currently testing this further before replacing the component
  • 16:50 - editing the resources of an existing managed server is now again working and you can use the cockpit normally - there's still a little issue with creating new servers that we're working on
  • 17:30 - all problems could be resolved and our tests were successful, you should now be able to use the cockpit as usual
